Some time ago, I came across CoRank, which is not a hosted Digg-clone, (but it is, really...;-). Over the last week or so, I've been using an RSS import facility (available on request from corank) to populate http://openlearnigg.corank.com with links to OpenLearn Units (see Time for an OpenLearnigg (sic) Environment for my earlier doodles on this topic).

CoRank supports topic based and tagged classification, so I've mirrored the OpenLearn topic structure, and also added a handful of tags to each post (by hand! Ideally, this would be done automatically using some sort of term extraction or content analysis tool).
I've set the permissions up so that:
Having got access access to al the template files (again - available on request).
On the to do list template hacking wise is the addition of feed URLs for each unit, and then maybe a Grazr embedded feed view of the content from each unit.
I'm also thinking of collecting links to the MIT opencourseware units, agian by piping them in via MIT OCW course listings RSS.
