Smart Grids and Demand Side Management: Funding

The Low Carbon Network Fund grant is part of the £14M Project Falcon (Flexibility and Low Carbon Optimised Networks). The aim of the this project is to trial a series of
Smart Grid electricity network interventions in Milton Keynes. The OU contributes to the project’s disseminaton among partners and users. Watch the introduction to Project Falcon on Youtube and visit the Low Carbon UK Project site.

The overall objective of the GAMBAS project is the development of an innovative and adaptive middleware to enable privacy-preserving and automated utilizations of
behaviour-driven services that adapt autonomously to the context of users. This work has prototypical application in the domain of public transport. For further information on this project, please contact Professor Gerd Kortuem.
